Pandemic EBT provides food benefits of
$7.10 per school day when children miss
school meals due to COVID. Texas is
providing P-EBT benefits for the 2021-2022
school year to eligible children.
To qualify for P-EBT benefits, children must
be certified eligible for free or reduced price school meals through the National
School Lunch Program at their Texas school
for the 2021-2022 school year. Receiving
school meals for free does not automatically
qualify a child for P-EBT.
