Spring Band Concerts

Tomorrow’s district Varsity baseball game against Coahoma will start at 4:30 and JV will follow.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, beginning at 7:00 AM, in the Board Room of the Administration Building, 200 North College Street, Stanton, Texas 79782.

Middle School Parents and Students: We are getting close to time for STAAR testing. We recently took a benchmark and will be providing in school extensions to provide extensions needed based off of the testing data. The test dates are: 8th Grade May 5th (Science) and May 6th (Social Studies), 6th-8th May 10th (Math) and 6th-8th May11th (Reading). Please encourage your student to continue their dedicated attention in class to reaching their fullest potential on STAAR. We will have a mandatory parent meeting for anyone with a student in athletics on Thursday, April 7th in the high school auditorium. Current 6th and 7th grade parents will meet from 6:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. and current 8th - 11th grade parents will meet from 7:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Please make plans to be in attendance for this meeting.

The middle school track meet in Colorado City scheduled for today has been postponed to Friday, March 25th.

Upcoming SMS and SHS Band dates:

Due to weather, the high school track meet scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.

March Board of Trustees meeting changed from March 14, 2022 to March 10, 2022. The board meeting will still be held at the administration building at 6:00 PM.

The varsity softball game at San Angelo Lake View on Tuesday, March 8th will be played at 5:30 PM. The JV game for that night has been cancelled.

The varsity softball game vs McCamey today has been moved to 6:00 PM, there will not be a JV game following

2-24-22 10:00 start. Buses 2 1/2 hr delay

The boys' basketball team will play San Angelo TLCA in a bi-district playoff game on Tuesday, February 22nd starting at 7:45 in Merkel.

The girls' basketball team will have their bi-district playoff game versus Wall at the Junell Center in San Angelo on Tuesday, November 15th at 8:00 PM.

Congratulations to our varsity girls' basketball team for being co-district champions today!  They will have a playoff seeding game vs Coahoma on Monday night at 7:30 in Garden City.  Coahoma is the home team, we are the visitor.

Due to Sonora's concerns about travel, the varsity basketball games vs Sonora have been rescheduled for Saturday afternoon.  The girls will start at 2:00 PM and the boys will start at 3:30 PM.

Stanton ISD will have a delayed start tomorrow, Friday 2-4-22. Busses will run 2 1/2 hours late and doors will open at 9:45. Classes will start at 10:00 with a 3:00 Friday dismissal.

The basketball games tomorrow versus Sonora have been changed to varsity only with the girls game starting at 5:00 PM and the boys starting at 6:30 PM
