
We will have our 2nd annual Jingle Jog on Thursday, December 15 5:30 p.m. at the SHS track. 3/4 grades will be performing a few songs, and then all Pre-K through 5th graders and their families will be asked to come to the track for a mile walk, jog, or run. There will be some door prizes for those families who participate in the run/walk portion.


Good luck to our UIL competitors tomorrow. Remember only those students who are participating tomorrow will attend school. Ready writing, creative writing and spelling competitors have already completed their tests. Any student not competing tomorrow will stay home and enjoy an early start to their weekend.

Monday, November 14 is World Diabetes Day. Stanton Elementary will wear blue Monday in support of those who win the battle against blood sugar every day!


During the month of November, Stanton Elementary staff and students are reflecting on what we are grateful for. We would love to hear from our valued families and greater educational community about what and who you are grateful for at Stanton Elementary School.

Monday is our Veteran's Day program that our Pre-K through 2nd. Students need to be dropped off in their spots by 5:30. All students will remain with school personnel until the conclusion of the program. Students should wear red, white, blue coordinating outfits.


Thursday November 10th at 5:30, we will have a short meeting for parents of currently identified GT students in elementary and middle school. Immediately following at 6:00, we will have a parent meeting to explain the nomination process and timelines. If you have a current student identified as GT or think your child may be a candidate for GT services, please plan to attend these meetings.


Tomorrow at Stanton Elementary will be hat day - students may wear a hat for $1.

Tomorrow is Mad Scientist Day at Stanton Elementary. Students may dress as a scientist. Students will have the opportunity to do multiple labs in different rooms across their grade level, so don’t miss out!!

Friday, October 28 is National First Responder Day. Stanton Elementary will be ending our safety week with our local first responders. We will have fire, sheriff, police department and many more on campus for our students to meet and look at their equipment, so please do not be alarmed when you see their vehicles on campus. Students should dress warm for the cool weather we will have tomorrow. Thank you for your support of our efforts to build community partnerships.


The Pumpkin Trail at the Convent has been cancelled due to weather tonight. They are planning to be there tomorrow.
