Congratulations to Thayne Gernentz for being named to the Texas All-State Band!!!! This honor is only achieved through several very tough auditions. Less than 1% of high school musicians that begin this audition process at the region level go on to be named an All-State musician. He will travel to San Antonio on February 7 to rehearse with the other all-state musicians and will perform in a concert at the Lila Cockrell Auditorium on February 10 at 8:30 am in San Antonio. Congratulations to Thayne for achieving this tremendous honor and representing Stanton!

SHS will wear blue Thursday, January 11, 2024 for Human Trafficking Awareness Day. This is an opportunity to join with other community partners and organizations across the state – standing together to raise awareness throughout Texas. #WearBlueDay

We will have a GT parent meeting January 18th at 6:00 PM to share information about our program and giftedness in general and to help answer any questions you may have about nominations. We also recommend speaking with your student's teacher(s) for valuable feedback to help you make an informed decision. The window for nominations is open from Dec. 1 - Jan. 31.
