We used our early out today to practice a reunification drill with our 2nd grade car riders, what a great learning experience for us all! Thank you parents for your willingness to participate, your patience and most of all, thank you for you kiddos! We'd also like to thank Brandon Ireton at the Martin County Complex for your help and the use of the facility. The Martin County complex is going to bless our community in many ways, thank you Martin County Commissioners for investing in our community and supporting our schools! #safetyfirst #blessed #martincountyisthebest #greatdaytobeabuffalo

Tonight as the Buffaloes take on Anthony they will have a Purple Ribbon on their helmets in honor of Micheal "Doc" Hailey, the longtime athletic trainer for Crane ISD, who passed unexpectedly this past week. We continue to keep the community of Crane in our thoughts and prayers.

Due to the weather today, the community pep rally has been moved to the SHS old gym. The Pep Rally will start at 7:00 p.m. unless the Varsity volleyball game goes past that time. We will then have it immediately following the game.
Thanks
Corky Blocker's funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept 29 at 1pm in the High School Auditorium. We are anticipating a big crowd so we will need to make some adjustments to our schedule in order to provide a peaceful moment for the family.
On Tuesday, we will ask ALL staff and students to park in the north parking lot by the bandhall. This will allow the family to use the new parking lot as well as the parking lot in the back. It might be a tight fit, but we can make it work.
In order for our students to be back in class and not be in the middle of the incoming traffic we will make the following adjustments to the HS schedule for Tuesday:
High School Lunch: 11:35-12:15
5th Period: 12:19-1:11
6th Period: 1:16-2:08
7th Period: 2:12-3:04
8th Period: 3:08-4:00
Thank you for your flexibility.

Good afternoon. there have had several people inform me that Hwy 349 out of Midland is closed in spots due to a wreck and spillage on the road. I’m not sure where, but just wanted to inform you. The football bus will take 137 to 2401 to Rankin as an alternate route. Thanks and be safe if traveling.
