If you are considering nominating your student for GT testing, please take a moment to review the information in the graphic. We encourage you to talk with your student’s teacher(s), as they can offer helpful insight to support your decision. The nomination window is open through Jan. 31. Nomination forms will be available in the High School office and should be returned to Mrs. Anderson.

An informational meeting will be held on Dec. 16 from 11:30 to 12:00 in the Elementary Music Room for all grade levels.

Picture Retakes

Stanton ISD will host Senior pictures on Thursday, December 4, during the school day. Girls will be photographed in a cap and gown, as well as a drape. Boys will be photographed in a cap and gown and in a tuxedo. The photograph company will provide the tuxedo and a white shirt; however, boys may wear their own white button-down shirt if they prefer.

From Merkel We just got some more strikes within the 10 mile radius. Expected to have lightning up until at least 7 or 7:30 Rough estimates may look like a 7:45 clear and 8pm or 8:15 kickoff at the earliest.

Football game in Merkel is officially in a lighting delay until 7:00 or later according to Merkel officials. Gates will remain closed until the end of the delay.

3. They are only able to send or receive emails to and from their teachers.
