Stanton ISD School Board has approved an early dismissal on Friday, January 20th. Stanton Elementary will dismiss at 11:50.

We want to wish our competitors best wishes and good luck tomorrow and throughout the spring showing season!

Monday, January 16, 2023 is a school holiday for students and staff. School will dismiss at regular time Friday - 2:50 p.m. for Stanton Elementary.

Pictures retakes are tomorrow! This is for all new students since we had fall pictures and students who pay for pictures tomorrow. Please go to online.phototexasphotography.com and use code PTPUC to order. Again, only new students or students who pay will take pictures tomorrow. Class pictures will be later in the spring.

Christmas Reading Challenge. Return after Christmas break with a parent signature for a special treat!!

Tomorrow is an early release day! We will have 3-5 Christmas parties from 11:15-12:00 and Pre-K through 2nd grade from 12:00-12:45. All students will dismiss at 12:45.

Don't forget the Jingle Jog tonight at 5:30. We hope to see all our families there.

We will have our 2nd annual Jingle Jog on Thursday, December 15 5:30 p.m. at the SHS track. 3/4 grades will be performing a few songs, and then all Pre-K through 5th graders and their families will be asked to come to the track for a mile walk, jog, or run. There will be some door prizes for those families who participate in the run/walk portion.

Good luck to our UIL competitors tomorrow. Remember only those students who are participating tomorrow will attend school. Ready writing, creative writing and spelling competitors have already completed their tests. Any student not competing tomorrow will stay home and enjoy an early start to their weekend.

On Friday we will be hosting our UIL competition. Students who are not competing will not attend school. Good luck to our participants who tried out and have been spending lots of extra time practicing, we know you will do a fantastic job!

Stanton ISD will dismiss at 2:50 today to begin our Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Monday, November 28th at regular time. We are thankful for each of you and hope you have a wonderful week.
