Registration is ongoing through our online system. Your child will not be able to start school or be placed on a teacher’s roster until you complete this critical step before August 1, 2024. I have emailed out parent portal ID information to parent/guardians who have not created accounts as of last week. This is for ALL students - new or returning. Don't forget, if you need assistance with the online registration for your child, tomorrow is the final day until August. The computer lab at the high school will be open and staff will be on hand to assist!

*** Summer Strength and Conditioning Information *** This Summer, both Boys and Girls will be doing Strength and Conditioning at the same time. We will start on June 3rd and will go every Monday through Thursday starting at 7:00AM and going through 8:30 AM. Each Head Coach will communicate their Sports Specific Training Schedules to the athletes. We will be using a Summer Specific SportsYou to communicate with everyone. All Boys and Girls who are going into 7th-12th Grades should join this group. A weekly schedule will be sent out every Sunday afternoon and any changes or updates will be sent out as soon as possible. The access code to join the Summer SportsYou is: AMHB-EQP4 We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday Moring!!!

If you have not already completed registration for the 24-25 school year, all campuses will have representatives at the high school tomorrow and next Wednesday to assist you. The labs will be open from 8-4.

Physicals for the 2024-2025 School Year will be held on Tuesday, May 21st. Who needs a physical? -Any student who is entering the 7th, 9th, or 11th Grade wishing to participate in Band or Athletics. -Any student who has been under Doctor's Care. -Any first time participant. High School Students will be able to get their physicals at the High School from 8:15 A.M.- 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 21st. Middle School Students will be able to get their physicals at the Middle School from 8:15 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 21st. Prior to getting your physical, you must fill out and bring the Medical History Form. Medical History forms can be picked up at the High School and Middle School Front offices.

All currently enrolled students need to make sure they have a parent portal account to complete registration for the 24-25 school year, which is currently open. *** 2024 Stanton High School Summer Sports Camps*** Stanton High School will be offering Summer camps for Tennis, Boys and Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, and Softball. (Football camp will be announced at a later date). Flyers can be picked up at the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School front offices. We are looking forward to seeing all of the campers this Summer!!!

Field Day is Thursday, May 9th for all Kinder-5th students. If you want to pre-register to take your child with you from the field, you MUST complete this form by 4:00 on Tuesday. https://forms.gle/ZwGsTBKh2hkRSQwg7 If you cannot get the form to load, please try a computer or stop by the office tomorrow before 4:00. Only parents of students leaving need to complete the form. All students participating in field day will receive a complimentary Kona Snow Cone. Family members may purchase a snow cone if they choose. All family members will need to park in the back parking lot (where you part for Friday night football games) and enter through the southwest gates. Only students who are prechecked will be allowed to leave from the field with a matching student/parent tag. All others will return to school and will stay until 3:50 unless checked out from the school. All parents must remain in the stands and will not be allowed on the field at any time. Beginning on the morning of April 30, the City of Stanton will be completing maintenance on the water lines between Carol St. and Beckman St. on Broadway. Broadway will be closed down for up to one week in this area. Please be prepared to reroute both your morning and afternoon to account for this road closure. Please follow the arrows for afternoon pick up for our PK-2nd grade students.

In the event you missed Pre-K or Kindergarten registration last night, we will have additional days in early August. We will also soon be registering (online) any currently enrolled students. We will also need all students to complete their proof of residency in August. Please hold off on that at this time. If you have any questions, please reach out to us. Wednesday, April 24th we will have our PK/K registration for any NEW students. Parents of current PK students will not need to attend this event. Children do not need to attend with their parents due to limited space.

Today, we will be sending home report cards, parent portal information and individual spring pictures. Also, for 3rd-5th Grade parents, we are still having our lunch and learn today to give you an opportunity to write a note of encouragement to your child for STAAR testing days. We hope to see all 3rd - 5th Grade parents at 11:30 this morning.
