Congratulations to Thayne Gernentz for being named to the Texas All-State Band!!!! This honor is only achieved through several very tough auditions. Less than 1% of high school musicians that begin this audition process at the region level go on to be named an All-State musician. He will travel to San Antonio on February 7 to rehearse with the other all-state musicians and will perform in a concert at the Lila Cockrell Auditorium on February 10 at 8:30 am in San Antonio. Congratulations to Thayne for achieving this tremendous honor and representing Stanton!

Hey everyone! We will begin passing out the raffle tickets for project graduation tomorrow night (Friday) at the basketball games. Just a reminder, every senior will pick up 10 tickets each. We will have a GT parent meeting January 18th at 6:00 PM to share information about our program and giftedness in general and to help answer any questions you may have about nominations. We also recommend speaking with your student's teacher(s) for valuable feedback to help you make an informed decision. The window for nominations is open from Dec. 1 - Jan. 31. Nomination forms will be available in all school offices or can be printed:
