Abernathy has canceled our JV GAME this Thursday evening. They do not have enough healthy players this week. We were able to find a game vs Ropes JV. We will travel to Ropes on Thursday, 10/26/23, for a game starting at 6:00 PM. They have one junior high game before our game, so it may not begin until 6:15.

Due to unforeseen technical difficulties with testing this morning, some sophomores may get a late start to lunch. Those students will have lunch from 1:25 - 2:10. We are monitoring testing rooms closely and will get as many students to lunch on time as we can. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your patience as our Buffs work so hard to CRUSH the P-SAT this morning.

Stanton ISD will be conducting a lock out/down drill today at approximately 2:25 PM. This is just a preparedness drill. We have drills such as this so our students and staff know what to do in the event of an emergency. ALL outside doors will be locked and visitors will not be allowed in during the drill. Administrators and school resource officers will conduct this drill in an effort to maximize our safety protocols and procedures for all students and staff. Normal operations will resume as soon as the drill is deemed successful. Thanks for helping us educate and keep your child(ren) safe.

We will take Junior High Football pictures tomorrow morning at 7 AM. Please bring the envelope and money tomorrow. Doors will open at 6:20 AM
SHS will have lunch at 12:28. 10th, 11th and 12th graders do not have to return after lunch. 9th graders who would like to leave at 12:28 will have to be signed out in the front office. Otherwise, they will be released at 1:00 PM after lunch.
