There has been a schedule change for the SHS Brass and Woodwinds Camp this week:
For the rest of this week (June 5-9 ) band will be from 1 pm- 5 pm in the SHS Band Hall. THERE WILL BE NO BAND PRACTICE IN THE MORNINGS. This is for all current and incoming brass and woodwind members of the SHS Band.

The SHS Band Brass and Woodwind Camp is next week (June 5-9) from 8 am-11 am and 1 pm-5 pm in the SHS Band hall. (Lunch break from 11-1 on their own). This is for all incoming and current members of the SHS Brass and Woodwind Sections.
The SHS Colorguard Camp will be on May 8, 9, 10 in the SHS band hall from 8 am-5 pm with a break for lunch on their own. This camp is for all current and incoming members of the SHS Colorguard.
We will be learning the opener to the 2023 marching show as well as developing some very important fundamental skills. Positions in the 2023 Marching show are determined , in part by attendance at summer band.
Students should wear comfortable clothes and tennis/running/athletic shoes.

Friendly reminder Today May 25th is an early release, buses will run at 1pm.
Next week is the SHS Band 8th grade band camp. This is open to any current 8th graders that are interested in learning about being in the High School Band.
Mon-Wed, May 15-17 from 4:30-5:30 pm in the SHS Band Hall. Come and meet our student leadership team, learn how to march, play fun music, and become a part of the SHS Band family!
Thursday May 18 is our SHS Band Movie Night! All 8th-12th grade band members are invited.

The 2023 Spring Band Concert is happening on Thursday May 4 in the SHS Auditorium.
The middle school concert starts at 6:00 pm and the SHS Concert and Awards night will begin at 7:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
The Varsity baseball team will play in Tornillo at 1:00 MDT/2:00 CST on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The Junior Varsity baseball team will play thirty minutes after.
